EmerTher Genomic Magnetic DNA Extraction Kit is used for extraction of DNA from blood, cells, saliva, tissues, and other biological samples. 

The Kit contains superparamagnetic nanoparticles specifically bound to nucleic acids and uses a safe and eco-friendly extraction system. The high quality genomic DNA extracted by our kit can be directly applied for a variety of down-stream experiments, including restriction enzyme digestion, PCR, cDNA library construction, Southern blotting, gene sequencing, etc.

Proteins and other cellular debris

1. Add sample to a lysis-extraction solution to enable cell lysis, DNA release and DNA binding to magnetic beads in one step

2. Apply magnetic force enabling easy wash of the beads with Washing Solution I & II

3. Elution of DNA from the beads using water or TE buffer

Automated Extraction

Pre-packed plates for easy automation; compatible with a variety of automatic magnetic bead processors and liquid handling systems

Fifteen frozen blood samples (200 µl each); Elution volume: 100 µl. Loading on gel: 6µl

DNA absorption spectra (220-350 nm) of extracted DNA using Thermo Nanodrop 2000

Fluorescent quantification of Helicobacter pylori DNA extracted from stomach fluid using an EmerTher kit (A) or a gold-standard column based kit (B). Our method shortened the extraction time by more than 50%. The detection limit of both methods was comparable.
